Broadening the Field
We collaborate with bright, young minds in middle school and beyond, as well as educators, parents and guardians, community leaders, and local employers to assure access to hands-on STEMM training and K-12 learning modules to support education and outreach efforts, summer programs, internships, apprenticeships, career placements, and more. These programs address the broader workforce development and talent pipeline needs in biotech and STEMM sectors nationwide.
As a niche supplemental education experience provider, we align with the CDC’s Core Health Equity Science and Intervention Strategy concepts. This strategic alignment has allowed us to create a portfolio of educational and professional development programs that unites students, school systems, and the workforce. Our goal is to make lasting positive impacts in local communities and beyond, particularly in addressing health equity issues.
Our programs ignite inquisitiveness, expand horizons, develop tangible skills, and:
- Provide opportunities to learn about gaps in health outcomes, and research solutions that can improve patient care.
- Encourage and mentor all interested middle and high school, college, graduate, and professional students to be the best they can be.
- Provide hands-on training in proper laboratory techniques and practices, biomedical research, next-gen sequencing (NGS), pipetting, writing a research grant, marketing testing services, and more.
Future Leaders of STEMM
One of Athari Bio’s core programs is Future Leaders of STEMM, a dynamic educational experience where 6th – 12th graders will gain a broad understanding of genetics through hands-on laboratory work, expert speaking engagements, and collaborative group projects.
